On Call Project Details

The first project in Full Sail history to be nominated for the BAFTA Student Awards, On Call was the primary project I worked on during my Masters program with Full Sail. On Call is a visual novel that places players in the role of a physician during a 72 hour on call shift.

This project was the largest I have ever worked on, with more than two dozen people involved in the overall production. During the first production sprint, our only python programmer graduated and left the program, resulting in me teaching myself python and the RenPy engine, then designing and programming the time progression and rest break systems that form the backbone of the game.
